Live Event/Sports Director - BEK Sports Network (Regional Sports Network)

BEK Sports Network, is the only North Dakota-owned broadcasting company with a statewide broadcast footprint and a nationwide Internet (OTT) offering. The BEK Sports Network includes live events activities from across the state of North Dakota. BEK Sports Network recently celebrated its 16th anniversary, having broadcast over 4,750 events, from 80 cities and 110 venues.

Position Summary:

This position is full-time and is responsible for the following aspects of live sports production:

-Directing and producing live, multi-camera sporting events through live outside broadcasts, remote broadcasts, and non-live program production.

Preferred, Skills and/or Experience:

- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve broadcast issues

- Well organized and detail oriented individual

- Ability to self manage and work with little supervision

- Knowledge of sports

- Proven ability to manage competing priorities, strategically aligning efforts and activities to meet company goals

Education/Experience:

- Bachelors Degree, in Broadcasting or equivalent experience in television/radio production

- Possession of a valid driver’s license

- Clean motor vehicle record

- Must be willing to consent to drug screening
